Data was gained from on-site visits to over twenty ministries in recreational areas from Maine to California.  These ministries were then presented according to their primary goals: worship, evangelism, counseling, and social action. A discussion of evangelistic strategies in recreational areas recommends the use of friendship, proclamation, and contact evangelism. Findings from on-site visits and research into evangelistic strategies are joined together in plans for establishing an evangelistic ministry among recreational areas in Maine.
