This theology dealt specifically with issues of conversion and sanctification in order to enhance participants' spiritual formation. The methodology followed the classical Christian pilgrimage of awakening, purgation, illumination, and union. The methods employed multi-sensory learning techniques in the context of spiritual disciplines. The project measured affective changes in participants based on new spiritual discipline practices.
