From this analysis, six principles have been identified contributing to numerical growth: a church-centered life, conservative theology, dedicated pastors, prayer meetings, small group meetings, and the homogeneous unit.  The writer seeks to discover the correlation between the implementation of these principles and church growth.  By comparing the rate of growth between those churches that practice these principles with those that do not, a valid judgment was made whether a correlation exists between the adherence of these principles and church growth.  The writer's hypothesis was not supported.
