Ten Likert statements and three survey questions were designed to discover the mistakes that, destroy trust, prevent unity, and inhibit change. The discovery survey revealed nine common mistakes, the greatest of which was behavior which caused a lack of trust. the two methods of collecting data revealed inconsistencies in congregant responses between the Likert statements and the survey questions.
