It is based upon library research and reflection upon my twenty-five years of experience in ministry.  This paper examines sin/evil in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.  Study of the mythologies of various cultures and the psychological impact of sin/evil in one's life.  Lastly study of Jungian notion of sin/evil, it includes as set forth in the concepts of ego, persona/mask, unconscious, and shadow.
