The particular genre is expository preaching.  The student's personal faith journey, theological views of Scripture and the embrace of expository preaching in discipleship development are highlighted.  The doctoral paper provides a description of the context within which the project was developed, and the motivations that led to the founding of the congregation.  The student implemented this strategy through a series of expository sermons followed by a focus group to reflect, respond, interact and evaluate relevance, contents, form and outcome.
