The importance of Ministry Descriptions presupposes the importance of lay ministry. The project designs Ministry Descriptions to enhance participants' perceptions of their ministries in six areas: expectations, lines of authority, evaluations, purposes within the overall ministry of the church, satisfaction with ministry, and satisfaction with Ministry Descriptions.
