The thesis explained that the baptized and confirmed are a people set apart to 'proclaim his virtues.' (1 Pt 2:9). Four specific practices of the preaching habitus; lectio divinia, congregational analysis, biblical criticism and rhetoric were explained in detail. A test workshop was conducted in which the practices were applied to the formation of catechists. The results of the application methods, obtained through qualitative research, are revealed in chapter four.
