The second chapter focuses on Biblical and theological perspectives.  The issues of patriarchy, child care options for newborns, and the church's involvement are discussed.  The thesis: clergy have more flexible daytime schedules, making it possible for caring for their infants during the day.  The project details clergy experience and summarizes non-random purposive sampling of other clergy to determine their infant care solutions.
