Christ has commanded us to be 'learners' in a community of discipleship.  Direct and indirect surveys and case studies indicate that ALMA marriage encounter is effective.  Effective evangelism through receptor-oriented, relational, incarnational witness is a process.  Effective discipleship is related to cross-cultural communication, dialogue and historical and cultural context.
