It attempts to interpret selected concepts from communications system theory and neuro-linguistic programming which are applied within the context of such church functions as administration, pastoral care, preaching, and problem resolution.  Forty-four church persons were involved in this field testing, through eight workshops in Rhode Island and New York.  Prior to each session each participant read that part of the manual which was to be considered and applied the concepts in the manual through discussion and the playing of focused communicational games at the end of each chapter. Throughout the project report informal observations have been made relative to the field testing process, and the relevance of that process to communication in the church.
