However, a careful reading of such books reveals that in a significant instance, most people are not OK. The significant instance involves the feelings persons identify as guilt, and the cause is frequently traced to a lack of understanding of the nature of guilt.  The crucial question addressed in this project is how a model can be established that will enable persons to own their guilt and be led by such feelings to release by experiencing God's grace.  A discussion follows on the genesis of guilt, the ways in which guilt manifests itself, and guilt from theological and psychological perspectives.  The model then examines the genesis of grace, how guilt and grace are held in tension in preaching that is true to the gospel, and how grace is encountered in guilt to heal and restore.
