In this qualitative study of one particular congregation, the vital relationship between the praxis of evangelism and how we understand Christian identity will be examined.  A brief survey in the Gospel narratives will be offered to observe the role of Jesus' identity in his ministry and evangelistic witness.  A theological review of the modern reductionism of the gospel and the praxis of evangelism in North America will lead toward a renewed biblical framework for each, rooted in the reign of God.
