Narrative of this sort is used in the Bible, e.g. the parables of Jesus or the books of Ruth and Esther.  In this project I explore story as a vehicle for communicating the gospel.  First, I examined exegetically six texts.  Second, I made a brief historical survey of hermeneutics and set forth my own tentative statements toward a hermeneutic of story.  Third, I created a series of six stories based on the texts previously studied and making use of the hermeneutic I described.
