In chapter one he describes the church, using both subjective and objective indicators ro renewal.  In chapter two he gives a theological foundation based on Jesus as servant.  In chapter three he presents a design for renewal that includes a sermon series, education class series, and a retreat.  Chapter four is an evaluation. Results were mixed.  To an extent the church developed a spirit of risk and a vision of community service.
