The project demonstrates that churches have a definite role in the community's moral fabric, and they need to reinforce that role through active mentoring programs with youth and parents. The study finds two kinds of readings prevalent among church members: 'weak' readings from the modern world view, and 'better' readings from the sociohistorical perspective of biblical times.
