The workshop provides insights taken from an experience of reactions to the issues raised by the sexual abuse of female children. Because the paper deals exclusively with counseling female survivors the biblical and theological perspectives are weighted toward the feminist perspective. It is the author's contention that pastors, regardless of gender, can best serve female survivors of childhood sexual abuse from that perspective."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["63ab0f5c-c5fb-460c-b8ba-dd2fd91f7145"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133819688976384,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:25:21.084Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:42:27Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:26:09Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"a15fb47e-44a1-49a1-86d0-dc53a73d9c38","accessControl_ssim":["93f28270-f3df-403e-a982-a4838c829532"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Obsession and taboo: on free will, theology, and the search for artificial intelligence"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T01:42:26Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:50:24Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["c6c19a8d-9655-4569-876e-4fd079431afd"],"hasLease_ssim":["f39b0c67-8563-46ca-ad62-8077b41b6932"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"advisor_tesim":["Meredith Handspicker"],"year_tesim":["1991"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["George J Koch"],"publisher_tesim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"subject_tesim":["Religion","Mind and body","Free will and determinism","Religion and science","Technology","Artificial intelligence"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The cutting edge of the 'computer revolution,' strong artificial intelligence (SAI), tries to answer two ancient theological questions: is there such a thing as free will? and, what is mind or soul?
