In a 12-week experience, group participants practice personal devotions, meditation, and journaling.  The project follows participants' spiritual journeys and expresses them in their words, revealing qualities and skills necessary for an initiator, as well as some hurdles and concerns.  The project makes no claim that group spiritual guidance is the only way to draw closer to God, but with minimal education for the initiator such groups can be incorporated into churches. Questionnaires and journal reflections of partipants relate the project to contemporary practice of spiritual direction.
