After determining that these marriages could benefit from ministry, the project initiates a marriage support group to meet biweekly in the Thousand Oaks church. The historical and sociological background of the Caribbean immigrant family was researched, and a model for addressing their needs was designed in the form of a nine-session seminar series focusing on the areas identified above.
