The goals of the project were evaluated by experts using an assessment tool. The evaluation results demonstrate significant agreement by the evaluators that the workbook accomplished the resource goals. The most prominent finding indicates strong agreement that the resource could help caregivers learn the cause and effect relationship between beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The focus was to make accessible to non-clinical inner healing ministers recent psychological and neuroscientific findings about attachment wounding. Twelve participants assessed the resource by an instrument that included Likert-scale quantitative and open-ended qualitative questions. Quantitative data revealed strong agreement that the resource provided a basic understanding of attachment wounds. Qualitative findings revealed 100% of the participants described the resource as helpful. The evaluators were provided with a written and verbal  presentation of the H.O.P.E. Infusion Betrayal Trauma Seminar materials, and assessed its impact psychologically, cognitively, and spiritually. The results were measured statistically and by personal response. A careful analysis of the theoretical basis of the model was made and presented to a group of Christian mental health professionals and mission personnel in order to assess the theological appropriateness and clinical effectiveness of the model for use by Christians. It reviewed literature that focused on the black presence in the Bible, history and legacy of slavery, PTSS, racism, and church involvement. Africa's involvement in being the cradle of civilization was also explored.  Additionally, questionnaires disseminated to CAABBs were analyzed. The results of the survey indicated that some forms of PTSS do exist in the lives of African Americans.
