The project was designed to impact the participants' spiritual formation by teaching them how to practice ancient incarnational disciplines in both their personal context and in their daily routines. The results of the project revealed that when participants practiced the specific incarnational disciplines they experienced a greater degree of spiritual formation. In my project I shut off the television for two months in order to gain more margin in time to impact these vital relationships. I recorded my findings in three separate journals. While my motives and priorities were the driving force behind my time use and impacted my relationships more than anything else, having the television off created the margin in time to search out the core motives that drive busyness. A quesionnaire was used to ascertain the degree to which pastors and lay leaders depend on the Spirit. While today's leadership lacks a full understanding of the Holy Spirit, there appears to be a growing openness to explore the depths of this seemingly neglected, but equally authoritative part of the Trinity. Participants took a quantitative pre-test assessing their level of spiritual strength before receiving training and experience in eight sessions.  Following the training, they took the quantitative post-test, which included qualitative questions.  The project was successful. Participants developed better understanding about the relationship between spiritual vitality, deep wounds, and formational prayer. The participants engaged one another with the model and the movement of the Holy Spirit substantially increased their confidence in both their personal and corporate prayer. The primary methods of assessment were quantitative surveys. The data gathered was analyzed based on nine different facets of spiritual maturity. This study found there is a positive correlation between ministry involvement and spiritual maturity.  The facet of spiritual maturity that most positively associates with ministry participation is involvement in a small group community.
