Research question: In light of the ATS commitment to spiritual formation in community, how can we better respond to the needs of international students. The concepts in the CORE paradigm training program are designed to address four critical areas of the student's life: (a) Christ-centeredness (C) (b) ownership of responsibility (O) (c) relational connectedness (R) (d) and enjoying the journey (E). In reaching the goals of the CORE paradigm training program, I will integrate biblical, theological, and psychological concepts. I found the CORE paradigm training program to be an effective tool in teaching students the essential principles to maintaining health in the context of pastoral ministry."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["beb93775-0b27-4cc6-9fb0-f2ad62e68517"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130325425848320,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:29:48.695Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:08:30Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:49:27Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"efc86fa4-9952-42d4-8cfb-b6c31918c9ba","accessControl_ssim":["e6f3ac2b-322e-46cd-ab63-4c49badc495e"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A new dawn: a seminar for pastors on how to relate to newcomers who are members of a minority group"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:08:26Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:58:38Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ea599200-36e0-48a1-a588-c8ea9132def9"],"hasLease_ssim":["1b67970a-e138-471d-9a23-7956ed832a1e"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Elaine A Heath"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Mario H Guerreiro"],"publisher_tesim":["Ashland Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Race relations","Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This research evaluated a seminar designed to equip pastors to minister effectively to minority newcomers within their congregations.
