Both quantitative and qualitative data were derived from a six-session (15 hour) seminar with eight religious professionals, half ordained and half not.  The first three sessions taught a thorough concept of codependency and integrated it with psychodynamics and theology.  The last three sessions provided a process to look for evidences of codependency in personal ministry activities. Drawn from both the theology of hope and those in the field of a psychology of hope, these resources were presented as an avenue for initiating or rekindling hope among clergy.  The research methods employed were both academic and practical.  The latter resource was from a compilation of the work presented at two workshops in the Western Pennsylvania Conference. Employing a process model of theological reflection, the project identifies three foundations for the campus minister-educator's articulated role: (1) the promoting of critical skills, (2) the development and sustaining of community, and (3) the promoting of imagination. This project describes the process used to compile a handbook for local church pastors with specific focus on white 'Old Yankee' Protestant women over the age of seventy-five. Thus, a unique collection of hymns is needed to address the needs of a unique congregation.  This project attempts to define the worshipping communities meeting in the chapel of the Massachusetts General Hospital. A team of laity and clergy studied worship together.  They also surveyed their congregation regarding religious roots, beliefs and expectations about worship.  The team encouraged congregational participation in and response to liturgical renewal. They wrote collects and examined, tested and edited liturgies of the United Church of Christ and other Reformed communions. Methodology included a survey of AAPC training centers and ten process-oriented sessions based on representative feminist theorists.  The central learning activity was genogram groups in which participants' shared family of origin experiences of women's issues. Recent insights into women's psychological and moral development have uncovered the reality of women's different voice.  This thesis has engaged a dialogue among the theoretical constructs of feminist and biblical theology, women's developmental theory, and women engaged in parish ministry.  Through a qualitative approach female rectors have named their experience.  A distinctiveness was noted between women's consciousness and feminist consciousness.
