Four parent education sessions are developed with five practical home Bible study lessons for experiment.  The pastoral role models applied are the caring shepherd, guide shepherd, mediator, and vision giver. The teaching methods used are Groome's shared praxis approach and Westerhoff's enculturation. Five Wesleyan doctrines are joined with fifteen of Charles Wesley's hymns.  The author attempts to deepen the congregation's theological knowledge, develop their awareness of the hymns of Charles Wesley, deepen their appreciation of his hymns, and impact their spiritual life.  The project includes five study sessions and five sermons preached in appropriate worship settings. Control groups measure the success of the project. One unique place for ministry is the Service-member Opportunity College found on many military posts.  A chaplain or religious educator may bring together psychology, sociology, philosophy and theology to help students become informed and discover new meaning for their lives.  The author developed this project while teaching a course on Contemporary Moral Issues at Saint Leo College. The project is informed by a biblical-theological-ethical understanding of conflict which has as its foundation the theology of Reinhold Niebuhr.  It also takes into account human developmental psychology in the forms put forward by James Fowler, Erik Erikson, Jean Piaget and Lawrence Kohlberg. The drama evoked the stories of the congregation and strengthened their own developing faith journeys toward deepening trust.  The full-length drama was written with information obtained from faith development interviews of adults and from letters, writings, poems and memoirs in the life of 79-year-old Libba Herbert. A participants' guide is used to interpret this religious education ministry project to the audience who evaluated the experience and confirmed the project's thesis.
