This project focuses on the teaching and instructing of pastoral ethics and professional boundaries within a program of Clinical Pastoral Education. Presenting issues that surround this subject matter, the author offers his experiences of teaching a ten-week seminar on pastoral ethics and professional boundaries to a group of students enrolled in the Clinical Pastoral Education program of the Verdery Center, Atlanta, Georgia. Student evaluations and feedback were used to evaluate the structure of the seminar. This project focuses on five effective church planters and the contextualization of their ministries based on an awareness of the implications of the incarnation of Christ. The conclusions of this project report are based on qualitative research that focused primarily on an interview process. Through the use of Merriam's Constant Comparative Method, primary themes emerged that are reported in a case study format. This project provides a model for creating a ministry  of lay pastoral care for all congregational members through a small group ministry of pastoral caregivers, a priesthood of all believers.  Intimate, spiritual support for the lay caregivers in this ministry is offered through group spiritual direction. This project focuses the intersection of John Calvin's theology of repentance and a communications method developed by Episcopal priest Eric Law with a particular Session and other members of the congregation. Law's method was explored with the Session. A qualitative research design was developed and a series of surveys and interviews with elders and church consultant were conducted.
