The questionnaire 'Officer Training Evaluation' was developed and given to all current officers and to the men who had completed officer- training class but did not submit to ordination.  Results of the evaluation suggest that changes made because of this project improved the officer training process and aided in the relationships between the elders and deacons and between the session and the board of deacons. Research was conducted through a literature search.  The results were presented in a form of a seven-session divorced/separated group seminar focusing on: grief and depression, loneliness, guilt and rejection, anger and bitterness, identity and self worth, sexuality, and future goals. To test this hypothesis, the author accepted the job of 'Missions and Evangelism Pastor' of a 1000 member church with the goal of establishing a daughter church in a years time.  Cultural barriers were largely neutralized and an indigenous church was established in just over a year.
