It was hypothesized that Jungian Personality Type Theory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator could be effective means for enhancing students' self-understanding.  A teaching program was designed to study the effects.  A quasi-experimental method and a portfolio assessment of students learning were employed.  The findings indicated affirmative but not conclusive evidence.
