The stated goal of the project was to include church members with impaired mobility, and nursing home residents unable to attend local fellowships, as ministry participants in a weekly visitation program. Surveys employed to measure the effectiveness of the project's development and implementation provided statistical insight into the effectiveness and feasibility of such an endeavor. The purpose of the project was to assess the value of using a covenant to enhance the relationships between these pastors in Chinese churches in the San Francisco Bay Area. Data collected by survey, personal interviews, and and interactive seminar showed an overall positive opinion about the use of a covenant between the pastors. This culminated in their production of a one-year discipleship plan in which leaders oversee, mentor, and train leaders and teams in an intentional strategy of goals and objectives which will align all functions with the mission and vision of the church. To do this, the project will explore the shift that has occurred in western society as it has moved from a modern to a postmodern cultural expression. The project is supported by statistical analysis, the evaluation of polling data, and a personal lifestyle inventory of each participant, which demonstrates the disconnect and cultural divide between the two entities. The analysis of this information will be disseminated and discussed. The project required consideration and study for the basis of cell church ministry from a theological, cultural, and urban viewpoint. Surveys and interviews provided insight regarding barriers and possible solutions for cell group development and multiplication in Russia.
