The students participate in a class designed to accomplish this goal which introduces vocational Christian ministry.  The students explore the biblical concept of calling and their own personal identity. The students are exposed to a variety of vocational ministry opportunities through guest speakers and observation of ministry settings. A handcarved figurine of a shepherd with a sheep on his shoulders conveys the humility and strengths of the Great Shepherd. The olive woodcarving embodies this project by symbolizing the return of the lost sheep.  The shoulders of the shepherd represent the achievement of the goal of discovery and equipping of a recovery team ultimately engaging in visitation of the church dropout. This project compares member tabulated results against director evaluations for Iranian adult and Afghan youth disciple groups meeting separately over the course of eight weeks. The project was conducted in March of 2007. The parents were provided syllabi and participated in three teaching sessions, enjoyed a catered lunch, and concluded the workshop with an extended time for questions and answers. Follow-up support groups met for the three consecutive Sunday evenings.  The seminar addressed cognitive, skill-development, and affective issues centered on the issues of childrearing.  The project report includes problem, purpose, theological rationale, theoretical presuppositions, objectives, methodology, implementation, data, evaluation and analysis, and
