Willing residents in a designated nursing home and volunteers from local congregations met individually as partners and in small group gatherings within the institution in order to provide spiritual companionship and spiritual well being for the residents. Storytelling based on the Christian scriptures, affirmed one's value, enlightened one's understanding of God's presence in daily life, and fostered friendships.
