A second hypothesis is that persons who make redecisions about their scripts change their view of God.  The project uses the case study method for the purposes of research and presentation.  The results indicate that the primary hypothesis is true in the three case studies presented. The church now lacks the resources to offer these families the education, support and spiritual guidance which would strengthen the relationships of the couples and the families, make their expectations more realistic and identify the characteristics, stages and developmental tasks of remarriage.  This paper helps fill this gap with a six week structured workshop for remarried couples with blended families. Paramount to this principle of dialogue is self-disclosure, which is made possible through the mutual sharing of meanings from the life experiences of both the proclaimer and the hearer.
