The strategy was 1) cable tv spreads the Christian message, and 2) personal contacts help make it believable.  The writer read in the areas of cable technology, communications, and evangelism.  Other research included interviews and workshops at a video conference.  Measuring the response of the viewers to the cable program was difficult. Laypersons were not mobilized sufficiently.  No known commitment to Christ resulted. The design of the investigation consisted of three phases: in the first phase, the two independent variables selected for this study were examined.  These variables were 'levels of communication' and 'communication competence', and were examined with a sample of thirty married couples.  The second phase consisted of the development of the Ministerial Support Program. The third phase was evaluative and proposed measuring the impact of the program through the accomplishments in marital communication that were obtained by the participating couples.
