It includes: criterion for selecting lay counselors, defining pastoral and lay responsibilities, identifying basic counseling procedures, defining roles of the husband and wife, developing the art of communication, resolving conflicts, managing finances, follow up procedures, and evaluations. Insights and principles were compiled into a training manual.  Five couples were trained.
