The subjects are well-functioning middle-aged persons.  They narrate their entire journey of conversion.  Throughout the case studies, the holistic theory of Lewis Rambo and the normative theories of Donald Gelpi and Walter Conn are used to analyze the process of initial and ongoing conversion. They were asked what they found to be difficult and enriching during internship. Data gained through questionnaires, journal exercises, and interviews provided a narrative and anecdotal commentary of their experiences.  Mutual accountability, ethical responsibility, and the nature of the intern-supervisor relationship surfaced as areas of concern.
