A six-week study group examined seven written intercessions from various religious traditions, and focused on five 'circles of concern' which identified relationships from the self to the whole of creation.  The image of these 'circles' proved useful to the participants both in expanding their personal prayer life and in their appreciation of worship. Data was obtained through classroom experiences, interviews with married couples, participation in weekend programs for engaged couples, marriage enrichment weekends, seminars for those entering second marriages, and working in the Office of Marriage and Family Ministry for the Diocese of Kalamazoo evaluating their present programs and developing structures for future programs.
