The hermeneutical process was taken from Paul Ricouer and the theology of stewardship was developed in reaction to Karl Barth's concept of 'true growth' in the community of faith.  A seminar based upon the shared Christian praxis approach was developed.  The seminar was held at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Calumet, Oklahoma. It consisted of lectures and written activities.  The seminar participants gained a new understanding of stewardship which was used to project avenues of action. The author investigates the unique Lukan parables and uses these as the primary source of information concerning how Luke thinks. The project consisted of six classes where personality and stewardship tests were given.  Discussions about the biblical view of stewardship and one's own feelings, fears, motivations, and needs took place.
