The church’s current practice of evangelism is not cultivating disciples of Jesus. This paper aims to show that creating an intentional Christian community around the four practices in Acts 2:42 (apostle’s teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer) forms disciples of Jesus who bear witness to God’s new creation work in the world.
