However, whereas the people of the world have provided much guidance upon this subject, the people of God have remained relatively silent. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods including ethnographic research, interviews and a survey, this research project addresses the Church’s deficiency by developing a biblical, theological, and pastoral resource for members of the Uniontown church of Christ so that its members might better navigate matters associated with the reception, or non-reception, of an earthly inheritance. For one such container, this paper explores the Eucharistic Meal, an adaptive re-integration of the symbolic Eucharistic ritual with shared communal meals, inspired by early Church gatherings. Research focused on male spirituality and small group dynamics.  Scriptures that emphasized spiritual relationships, spiritual growth, and spiritual commitment directed the group and helped strengthen relationships with God and each other.  Discussion questions and a closing exercise for each meeting are included in the paper.
