For some, the language of “story” brings to mind fantasy epics like The Stormlight Archives. However, stories are also central in religious traditions. While many in the Christian tradition reflect upon the stories of scripture regularly, it is not as common to practice storytelling to enhance our own spirituality. This paper, through qualitative research, examines how the use of story, particularly focusing on its use in a Reformed Eucharistic liturgy, impacts the experiences and imaginations of worshippers. A group of 4 clergypersons studied together touch tree passages that have helped them understand their call in the past. By doing so they helped each other and themselves be reacquainted with who God has called them to be in their context after they have experienced a time of burnout. Crossing Together seeks to engage participants according to their spiritual style of Word, Emotion, Symbol, or Action as described by Joyce E. Bellous and David M. Csinos. Crossing Together devised a faith exploration course based on the Being With course, adapting this with image-rich and creation-centred material, thereby enabling a deeper engagement for participants with a dominant Symbol-centred spirituality. These adaptations also benefited other participants due to their learning preferences and styles."],"license_tesim":["https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/"],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/downloads/052a04f6-68a3-4e30-ba3f-6cab8e565322?file=thumbnail","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_ids_ssim":["5fa5ed73-1fab-4cdf-ada3-d3e2e7ec12b5","052a04f6-68a3-4e30-ba3f-6cab8e565322"],"file_set_ids_ssim":["5fa5ed73-1fab-4cdf-ada3-d3e2e7ec12b5","052a04f6-68a3-4e30-ba3f-6cab8e565322"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["jamie@themillikens.co.uk"],"_version_":1797407453415997440,"timestamp":"2024-04-26T14:22:04.440Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2024-03-07T18:06:57Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-03-07T18:06:59Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f90b8134-128a-464f-9655-b8fe423e5618","accessControl_ssim":["90b7e852-108b-463d-82dc-6323b30c6ca9"],"depositor_ssim":["pmarshall@pts.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["pmarshall@pts.edu"],"title_tesim":["Breaking Down the Dividing Wall: Navigating Congregational Polarities through Functional Subgrouping"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2024-03-07T18:06:56Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-03-07T18:06:56Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["124b676e-3210-480c-aac9-691365282889"],"hasLease_ssim":["6a0ae1e7-d18a-4dd8-926c-e92956b850df"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["DMin"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"year_tesim":["2023"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
