Chapter 1 defines the subject of prayer and proves that the Bible is not only an infallible divine revelation of God's plan of redemption, but also a record of the invaluable inspirational prayers of Jesus Christ. Chapter 2 begins with the birth of the Sudan Interior Mission and substantiates its mission emphasis by prayer in West Africa. Chapter 3 examines hindrances to prevailing prayers and the Nigerian Evangelical Church of West Africa involvement with charismatic movement. Chapter 4 addresses the importance of prayer in mission and biblical imperatives of praying for mission. Prayer strategies for rapid exponential increase of church planting are also included. A discipleship strategy was implemented at Calhoun Baptist Church with the objective of producing quantitative and qualitative growth. A biblical model, as well as scriptural instructions concerning the development of disciples as a means of producing growth supported the cultural background and sociological trends affecting the performance of the strategy. The methods and procedures for the implementation of the strategy were outlined in the project. Moses, Paul, and Jesus provide the biblical examples while John Wesley is used as a historical case for teamwork in ministry. Chapter three examines the contemporary secular and Christian resources to inform the project. teamwork, leadership, the purpose statement, core values, vision, and strategy are examined to provide an overview of intentional leadership. Chapter four covers what happened during the three-month project. Giving a report of what happened and who was involved, this chapter focuses on giving the facts of what happened. Chapter five is the evaluation of the project. This chapter shares the goals that were met and those that were not. Franklin Baptist Church that were made during childhood in order to ascertain whether or not these professions of faith were authentic salvation experiences. A biblical examination is made of conversion, its application to children, and the possibility of false professions of faith. Childhood professions of faith are examined from psychological,  sociological, and historical points of view. Social research is used to determine the authenticity of the professions of faith that the congregation of Mt. Franklin Baptist Church made during childhood. Biblical models of leadership training are examined from both the Old Testament (Ex 18:19-23) and the New Testament (Eph 4:11-16). Both the negative and the positive aspects of leadership are also discussed. A survey is presented that was administered to leaders, potential leaders and past volunteers. The survey was designed to reveal areas of need for leadership training. Finally the project is evaluated to reveal insights on how to enlist and meet the needs of volunteer leaders. Plans were developed to address relational, spiritual and emotional needs of persons living in Winder, Georgia.  The theological and biblical themes justifying the discovery of and ministry to particular human needs were developed.  Authorities in the disciplines of sociology and church growth were studied.  Sermons and survey instruments were created.  Community surveys were conducted and the needs of the focus group were prioritized. Chapter two of the research project explored and established a biblical and theological basis for personal evangelism. Chapter three presents an investigation of the mentoring process and its uses in three extra-biblical settings (e.g. the relationship of Socrates and Plato).  Research into mentoring relationships in the medical nursing and education professions provided examples for using mentoring relationships in a church's evangelism ministries.  Chapter four described the twelve week process of equipping a selected group of members of First Baptist Church to initiate a mentoring relationship with specific emphasis on personal evangelism.  Chapter five evaluated the effectiveness of the ministry and further applications for the
