Without this deep and abiding faith in God leaders will always be hampered by doubt and weighed down by fear. Chapter 1 identifies a problem in ministry of those who profess faith in Christ but who lack sustained affection for Him.  Chapter 2 is a select Biblical Theology of conversion from the New Testament.  Chapter 3 is a select history of American gospel preaching focusing on the way in which the gospel has been proclaimed.  Chapter 4 is a synthetic summary of regeneration and conversion.  Chapter 5 reflects upon the class experience of the learners. The author hopes that the evidences given will help readers to appreciate the uniqueness of biblical faith and enable them to discern the nature of new religious groups.  The method of research used is historical.
