Insight has value onlywhen shared with others. A series of mnemonic devices found in Scripture are keys to maintaining a successful spiritual walk. These methods, proven throughout church history, require diligent retention and dispersal of information in the context of relational support. Ethnographic research in rural Ostfrisian communities indicates that when routinely practiced, these methods form broad spiritual patterns that reflect a deepening commitment to faith issues. This project reveals indicators that assist eidetic recall of spiritual events. Yet, through video partnerships, these churches have a chance to be or become missional. The nature of these rural video partnerships has been to help existing but dying rural churches find support and facilitate its health and life. This project surveyed past and present video partners to help determine whether the partnerships were or are achieving those goals. Often those of us who find ourselves in these situations look for a pre-packaged program that will simply plug into the current church. The research discloses that pre-packaged programs have a fatal flaw in that they are not transculturally friendly. It also discloses that it is better to develop a program based on the specific culture in which the church is located.
