It is a commitment of leadership to nurture and equip believers for ministry within and without the body of Christ.  Chapter I provides the organizational structure of the family plan and the mechanics of its function.  Chapter II - XI comprise the training and instructional portion of the manual.  Chapter XII is the final chapter containing the project narrative in the form of a flow chart.  This provides a step-by-step dated account of progress towards implementation. In 'the awareness stage', the project assesses the significance of both hopeful and fearful literature on marriage and family.  In 'the initial stage', he recounts an inductive Bible study and self-examination of his own marriage eventuating in the development of two programs: (1) strengthened pre-marital counseling and (2) a two-staged post-marital program.  'The developmental stage' deals with a third ongoing ministry to help new parents develop parenting skills. This equips the elder or deacon for effective church service.  The course of instruction consists of eight lessons.  Each lesson contains a leader's guide, a worksheet and an evaluation sheet.
