The post-war generation is found to be in mid-life crisis and very open to and in need of spiritual guidance. The manual was used in a class setting and then evaluated by the participants. The result of this project were numerous ministry goals with time lines for them.  The project showed goals met and unmet. Information was gathered as interviews in a multiple case study.  Twenty cases were examined and each case included a new believer, the believer's non-Christian parents and the believer's pastor. The study showed that control was significant, but the way it affected decisions depended largely on the degree to which the parents were opposed to Christianity.
