The author conducted the research for this paper through extensive reading of Yonggi Cho's books, study of the historical and cultural context and the socioeconomic context of Cho's ministry in Korea, and evangelical missiological reflection and evangelical theological evaluation. The purpose of the project was to instruct married couples in such a way that they would be encouraged and equipped to improve their prayer life as a couple.  This would be accomplished by writing a manual entitled, Learning to Pray With Your Partner, and using it in a marriage retreat and seminar setting to instruct and encourage couples.
