A Church Growth Conference provided the context for the educational process.  The church in Acts served as a model for church growth.  Biblical and modern church growth principles were used as the basis for the instruction. Pre-tests, post-tests, observations and interviews were used to determine the effects of a course entitled 'The Meaning of Life' on a control group. Story theology offered the theological perspective.
