The results of pre-post tests, as well as group sessions, indicated that participants' understanding of and attitudes about marital relationships were enhanced. Although marriage is the emphasis, there have been several couples that had spiralied either towards separation or divorce without the consideration of reconciliation.  Therefore, I plan to focus on marriages in crisis and the pastoral ministry that addresses them.  My ministry focus will consist of a student guide for new ministers that engaged marriages in crisis without any clinicla experience.  The aim of this study is to present the discoveries of pastoral ministry though an exploratory research. Couples using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator [registered symbol] produced a joint spiritual discipline during marital counseling sessions with the pastor.  By practicing this discipline together, would they draw closer to God and to each other?  Focus groups, journals, and surveys showed the couples benefited from their joint spiritual discipline. The context of the study is marital therapy.  The possibility of denominalizing commonly used theological terms in the context of marital therapy hopes to give each member of the union additional choices over his-her communication and reconciliatory processes.  Evaluation of this experiment was pursued by subjective means with an emphasis on clinical observation.
