This project developed a seminary empowerment ministry to provide seminary students with encouragement, prayer, rest, meditation, self-care and social gatherings.  The objective was realized and a supportive community resulted.  Quantitative measurements showed that seminary students and support staff were empowered through their shared experiences. The ultimate result of application of the model was to establish, as a line item in the church budget, a self-perpetuating needs-based educational financial aid fund for seminarians. The methodology included content analysis of audio tape recordings, open interviews, and survey research.
