The results of pre- and post-testing provide adequate evidence of this project's effectiveness. The self-esteem of the congregation increased and the value of the Bible as a resource for continued growth in this area was recognized. This model helps congregations determine whether a pedagogical or andragogical approach to teaching and learning is the most appropriate for that particular context.  Eight chapters focus on key areas of the teaching/learning experience.  A theoretical consideration of each topic is offered, as well as a practical teaching/learning strategy that can be utilized within teacher training sessions. More specifically, a covenant-based spirituality model was implemented in the organizational life of the First United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska, with each of the committees, councils, and boards participating in the process.  A pre- and post-project questionnaire was designed and conducted to measure the impact of the covenant-based spirituality model on individuals, committees, and the congregation.  In addition, a questionnaire was provided to those who were directly involved in the implementation of the covenant process. The data from these evaluation tools indicate an obvious deepening of spirituality and a more faithful Christian discipleship for individuals committees, and the
