While individuals are eager to lead, the church lacks a clear succession plan or a distinctive process for mentoring and coaching pastors to lead at the various administrative levels of the denomination. Research shows that effective use of rhetoric and communication empowers leaders to become more effective in casting vision and leading people to take the next step. The thoelogical basis of the research is connected with recommendations for churches desiring to expand effective ministry.
